and enough of the fear that i might be inflicted by A H1N1.. i did something wrong last saturday… that is indulge in ice cold coke and a fairly large serving of ICE CREAM SUNDAE (yes, ICE CREAM and SUNDAE with lots of amazing toppings [almonds, unidentified nuts, chocolate shavings etc..etc..] and a single cherry to boot… not the kind of “ice cream sundae” you normally get around town) and ran around in Vientiane as the driver was already waiting to pick me up… what’s the bad thing i did is when i reached my hotel room, i immediately turned on the airconditioner in full power at it’s coldest setting to dry myself up… bad me, i know.. 

and so the round robin tournament for ISML (International Saimoe League) 2009 had started. since the last ISML i’m still rooting for kotomi to win ( i still can’t get over that she was beaten by yuki by a really close margin… well i can’t recall if i voted in that match /lol ), so i guess i’ll be on the same agenda again. ^__^

well speaking of the matches, i may have biases on voting especially that i haven’t watch some of the shows, ergo not knowing those characters (i’m at least familiar with aria/kanon/negima/akane iro no somaru saka), thus i really should get to know them. but that’s not the main reason why i’m ranting today…

it’s because of this:

kotomi versus patchouli !!! for the love of the moon! i love both of them so right now i can’t decide on who to vote.

kotomi or patchouli.. kotomi or patchouli.. kotomi or patchouli… waaaaaaaah

I might as well abstain.. no kotomi.. no patchouli.. okay.. i’ll vote for kotomi.

dear diary.

today, i’ve made my third call to globe customer service to check for an update on my endless problem regarding my SMS sending. It’s already been one month since I cannot send SMS and i think it will propagate until eternity *sobs*. well so much for “sir, please wait for a confirmation message within 24 hours and check if your SMS sending service had been restored”. goddamnit, confirmation messages came within 2 hours of me calling and still these people procrastinate… err, not really. i’ll just wait and see what happens when i come back.

do you know i really loved the customer support of globe? when you call the cs hotline, you don’t have to wait for ages for a support officer to assist you. Not unlike smart wherein i waited for heaven forbid, 30 minutes before i got the chance to speak with a support officer. scary huh? it’s just the same as meralco where you have to wait for 1 hour or so in cue while you are forced to listen to looping background noise. although, i was sort of pissed off when i asked my roaming to be activated and the cs representative asked where am i going and when i told her, she said that roaming isn’t supported in laos. like hell, for the love of the moon, i am the one going there and i know that globe roaming is supported in that area. she doesn’t have any right to deny me of services just because she didn’t know that the service they offer is available in the country where i am going.

*sighs* it’s already been over one week since i lost galatea on my first day of field break. would you look at that, i lost the phone my company issued to me, how clumsy of me. i am already missing my tsukasa cellphone accessory that was lost with the phone *cries* and currently i only have miyuki with me (konata’s in the office, serving as a keychain to one worthless dongle). oh well, i still have to report to the office that i lost the phone, i’m sooo doomed. I will exact complete rezombie err.. revenge (pardon the clannad pun) upon that bastard who got my phone [feel nature's wrath eh?..no. ehehehehehe]. i have already reported the lost to NTC where i requested to block all access to my phone since i still have the imei number. it’s just that the cellphone box is still in my room in laos when i filed the report. i am soooooo lucky that nikki-hime helped me in gaining access to my phone’s imei number. i owe so much hime-chan *hugs* guess, i’ll just need to call home (actually to NTC) to check the status of my report on tuesday, exactly one week after i filed the report.

on a side note, roaming rates of smart is lower than that of globe [i'm still on roaming through my globe number, although i will not be able to reply], guess i’ll just need to weigh both of them and decide next month which roaming service am i going to avail when going out. guess the true test of smart’s roaming service will be after i disembarked from my flight to VTE later at 9pm (+7 GMT)
